United States Masters Swimming (USMS) is a program of organized swimming for adults that promotes health and fitness through swimming activities that range from conditioning to international competition. Anyone 18 years of age or older can join.

Regions of the country are divided into Local Masters Swim Committees (LMSC). The Pacific Masters LMSC includes over 9,000 members in Northern California and Northwestern Nevada.
Pacific Masters Swimming's encourages and promotes physical fitness and enjoyment of swimming for adults 18+ years of age by supporting clubs, coaches, facilities, education, competition and social opportunities.
Members join through local clubs. Clubs offer pool space, coaches, practices, activities and other benefits. Membership in USMS is required to join a club.
